This is Peter's new friend Eli who lives upstairs. They are both loving all manner of superheroes and are looking at a superhero book in this picture.

New Apartment!

Here are a few pictures of our new apartment. We'll have to take some more for a little tour in the future.

The mess of moving in:

Max sitting near the sandbox in the backyard. The backyard is probably my favorite part! We share it with our landlord and lady who live above us with their three little boys. It's been a very nice transition from life in the village with friends so close and available.

Our oven is built into the cabinets, and I was quite pleased to find that it could still fit a full baking sheet inside.

Luke built some shelves so we could have some more storage. He did a precise and excellent job, of course. That's the Perkins way.

Silas' 2nd Birthday

Cousin Silas turned two years old on May 1! We went to Uncle Keri's house to see his new baby horse and ride one of his others. It was so cool! It always makes me wonder whether there's any chance of us owning horses in the future...Ha ha ha!

Kneaders and Dinosaurs

Luke's parents got him a gift card to go to Kneaders after he missed their free french toast for Father's Day last year. We finally got around to using it near the end of April. Of this year. We are such procrastinators! But we do always get around to using our gift cards, and we always LOVE them. This trip was no different. The french toast had caramel syrup, fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Quite delicious indeed!

Afterward we went to the dinosaur playground at City Creek. This is such a fun playground, and it's free! (After parking. :)

Easter

We went up to my parents' house for Easter. It was fun to watch the kids search for and find the eggs.

But first, a picture of Max sleeping. They're just so angelic while they're sleeping that I'm always trying to catch it on camera.

We also got a headstand show from Heidi. She has gotten so good at yoga!
